Superlatives! When it comes to genuine felt slippers, this description hits the nail on the head. The craftsmanship begins with the selection of the wool - in this case from Tyrolean mountain sheep, among others. The wool fleece made from this is pulled over the last by hand to give it its final shape. The upper and sole are joined together without any seams, making them extremely comfortable to wear. But that's not all: the wool itself - processed with hot steam - wraps itself smoothly around the foot and immediately conveys its excellent properties, which have not been achieved by artificial materials to date. You get warm feet in no time at all and they stay that way :) The sole itself is a good 10 mm thick and thus provides the necessary insulation at the most sensitive point of the foot.

TIP: these slippers are slightly smaller - we recommend choosing one size larger than the normal shoe size. If in doubt, you should always choose slippers that are slightly larger - they will not only fit more comfortably but are also warmer.

Wool felt can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without you noticing it on the surface. It is not true that sweat no longer forms in felt slippers (or any other footwear). However, you can no longer feel this moisture in slippers made of genuine (100% wool) wool felt, the foot does not cool down, but remains pleasantly warm. No unpleasant odors develop in wool felt, even when worn barefoot. It is nevertheless advisable to hang them out in the fresh air from time to time - wet cleaning is generally not necessary.
